Algeria on Friday strongly condemned the attack on a bus carrying Coptic worshipers heading for a monastery in Al-Minya, Egypt.
"We strongly condemn today's attack on a bus carrying Coptic faithful heading for a monastery in Al-Minya, Egypt," Foreign Ministry spokesman APS told APS. Abdelaziz Benali Cherif
"This abject terrorist act committed, as usual, against innocent people once more throws the veil on the ugly face of terrorism that transgresses all values and that unscrupulously violates the sanctity of human life", he added.
"While expressing our condolences to the families of the victims, the Egyptian government and the Egyptian people, we assure the families of the wounded of our compassion," he added.
"Our country, which has suffered from this blind and bloodthirsty terrorism and managed to undo it, is convinced that Egypt, with the solidity of its institutions and the support of its people, will eventually overcome this plague foreign to our religion and our values, "said the spokesman of the MAE.
