Algeria – National Education Minister Nouria Benghabrit announced today that the national exams for Baccalaureate and 5th Year will be reorganized.
Guest of the Radio Channel 3, the Minister of National Education says that this planned reform will not come into force for 2019.
"We will debate with the social partner", says Nouria Benghabrit, according to which this debate would come out with a consensus that will be shared later with the parents of students.
Asked if her department would consider abolishing the end-of-primary examination (5th AP), the minister said that a national assessment is needed, including to know where the level of each school is.
Mrs. Benghabrit thus wants to "make of this examination" a device of comparative evaluation between the results of the pupils ".
