Cholera: Libya calls to monitor travelers coming from Algeria

Algeria – Libyan authorities intensify their vigilance at border controls with Algeria, in light of the cholera epidemic that is spreading in some wilayas of the country.

Libya, through its national center for the fight against diseases, under the Ministry of Health, issued an alert yesterday, Sunday, August 26, to impose a medical check on travelers from Algeria, especially those crossing the land border

This center ordered an inquiry into the state of health of travelers from Algeria in case of symptoms. He also asked to report any suspected cases of cholera promptly, including all necessary information on the symptoms presented in the suspect's fact sheet.
