Customs reveal photos of seizure of one million euros at Algiers airport

Algeria – The General Directorate of Algerian Customs today revealed, on its Facebook page, photos of a record seizure of 1 million and 45,000 euros at Houari Boumediene Airport in Algiers.

In the photos revealed, it can be seen that the passenger, a 35-year-old Algerian, concealed this record sum in an equipped part of his suitcase.

As a reminder, Customs said in a statement yesterday that "this seizure follows the arrest of a traveler, aged 35 and trader of his state, who was preparing to embark to Istanbul (Turkey) on board flight TK 0652C ".
