Death by scorpion sting: CNES denounces "shocking" remarks by Hasbellaoui

Algeria – He calls on higher education teachers to prepare for a national protest movement to be announced soon!

The National Council of Higher Education Teachers (CNES) denounces the "shocking and irresponsible statements" of the Minister of Health, Mokhtar Hasbellaoui, on the circumstances of the death of their colleague, Dr. Aouissat Aïcha.

CNES expressed surprise at the words of the Minister of Health in which "he accuses the deceased of having assaulted the scorpion".

The Council criticizes the fact that the Minister did not open "an official inquiry into the reasons for the absence of specialist doctors in cardiology and neurology in a hospital in the Southeast Capital […] and on the fact that the deceased stayed in the hospital for 10 days without being transferred to another hospital "

Mokhtar Hasbellaoui is thus invited to "immediately return to his shocking and irresponsible statements". CNES also calls on the Presidency of the Republic and the government to intervene to reconsider their late colleague.

Finally, CNES calls on all its members to prepare for a national protest movement, the nature and date of which will be revealed shortly.

The Minister of Health, it must be remembered, felt that scorpions do not attack and only defend themselves when they are attacked.
