Economic lamps "LED" for the benefit of 33 municipalities


Algeria – Several financing agreements were signed Thursday in Algiers between the Ministry of Energy and the representatives of the Communal People's Assemblies (APC) to finance a second operation to replace ordinary street lighting lamps by economic lamps "LED" (light emitting diode lamp) for the benefit of 33 municipalities, spread over 29 wilayas.

Under these agreements, the financing of the operation of substitution of 10,000 ordinary public lighting units by economic lamps will be provided at the level of local authorities through an average of 300 public lighting devices in each of these 33 communes.

As a reminder, similar agreements were signed last June, encompassing 31 municipalities to finance a replacement operation of 9,300 ordinary street lighting units by economic lamps with an average of 300 public lighting fixtures in each. of these 31 communes.
