Algeria – French nationals traveling to Algeria are always called upon to take precautions against the existence of a cholera epidemic.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs republished today, Wednesday, November 14, its call for vigilance regarding the spread of cholera in Algeria.
It is in the heading "Council travelers" that the French Diplomacy relaunched this alert, while according to the official Algerian version, cholera has been eradicated for two months.
Indeed, for the Ministry of Health, no new case of the epidemic has been recorded since early September. However, the republication of this alert coincides with the decision, by Tipaza's health office, to postpone the reopening of the source of Sidi Lekbir (at the origin of the epidemic), originally planned for last Sunday.
