New heat wave in the south

Algeria – The heat wave, recorded in the south of the country, will persist in the next 24 hours in three wilayas with peaks exceeding locally 47 degrees, says Tuesday a Special Weather Statement (BMS) of the National Office of Meteorology (ONM).

The National Office of Meteorology (ONM) announces that a new wave of sweltering heat is affecting three wilayas in the south.

"Tindouf, Adrar and Ain Salah are concerned by this heat wave, caused by the persistence of the heat wave in the central Sahara and the South, according to the forecasts of the BMS.
