Algeria – A provisional diversion over a distance of one (01) km, with reduction of three to two lanes of traffic, will take place on the east-west highway at Khemis El Khechna, in the direction Algiers to Bouira, and this, due to work that will begin Wednesday, said Tuesday the Algerian Motorways (ADA).
This deviation comes as part of the launch of work to build the first central part of the Khemis El Khechna toll-free terminal (BPV), in the direction Algiers to Bouira, which will be engaged from Wednesday. August 8 underway at 9am, details the ADA in a statement. This is part of the continuation of the facilities and equipment operating the East-West Highway, lot center, she says. The temporary diversion will postpone the traffic of the vehicles on the already realized southern part of the toll station of Khemis El Khechna (BPV) which will be put in service, continued the same source.
An ad-hoc safety device, with adequate temporary signage for day and night construction, was put in place, she said. In this regard, warns the ADA, the approach speed of the work zone is limited to 60km / h, just as the limit height of the vehicles is allowed to a 5.25 m under awning. On the other hand, the ADA informs of the forthcoming launching of works for the realization of the second central part of the toll-free toll station (BPV) of khemis El Khechna, in the direction of Bouira towards Algiers.
The ADA recommends caution and moderation to speed users around the yards for their own safety, as well as that of personnel working on the highway.
