Several communes flooded in Tizi-Ouzou


Algeria- The heavy rains that fell over the last 24 hours in several regions of the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou, 100 km from the capital Algiers, caused significant flooding. Indeed, torrential rains fell on the municipalities of Makouda, Tigzirt, Tadmait, Draa Ben Khedda, Azazga and Freha, giving rise to impressive floods, destroyed roads and vehicles.

Heavy rain showers will continue to affect northern wilayas, including the central and eastern parts of the country.

These are the wilayas of Boumerdes, Tizi-Ouzou, Bouira, Bejaia, Jijel, Mila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Skikda, Annaba, El-Tarf, Constantine, Guelma and Souk-Ahras.

The weather will continue until this night at 23h in the wilayas of Central East, but will continue until tomorrow, Sunday at 06h, for the wilayas of the East. The accumulations will exceed 30mm in the Center-East and 40mm in the East, according to a new special weather report (BMS).
