Algeria – The Minister of Housing, Urbanism and the City, Abdelwahid Temmar, presented in London the Public Promotional Housing Program (LPP) for the Algerian community residing abroad .
During a meeting organized on Thursday by the Ambassador of Algeria, Mr. Amar Abba, at the Embassy headquarters and attended by the Consul of Algeria, Kenza Benali, a short film explaining the LPP formula was drafted before the Minister presented all aspects related to the latter, including the administrative procedure, which was reduced to a simple request, and the reception and communication mechanisms put in place for success this operation launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"More than 17,000 applications from Algerian nationals in different parts of the world have already been registered, including 790 in the United Kingdom," Temmar said, noting that nearly 7,000 subscribers have already chosen their sites.
Regarding the specificities of the housing to be carried out under this formula, the Minister of Housing has specified that the needs of the disabled category will be largely taken into account.
Temmar visits Great Britain to take part, as a guest of honor, in the celebration, on October 31, of the World Day of Cities, decided by the UN, whose main event held this year in Liverpool.
