From the end of October and for eleven weeks, the filmmaker will shoot "Sisters" with Isabelle Adjani, first between Algiers, Oran and Constantine, then in Paris and in the north of France. "For the first time, Isabelle will shoot in Algeria, in an Algerian role," says the director. The feature film will tell how three sisters – played by Isabelle Adjani, Rachida Brakni and Maïwenn – tear themselves apart when one of them (played by the star) decides to tell the story of their dying father's life.
"Isabelle will play a director, Maïwenn a business leader and Rachida a diverse right-wing representative of northern France, details Yamina Benguigui. I worked on the screenplay with Abdel Raouf Dafri (scriptwriter "A Prophet", "Braquo", "Mesrine" …), but it will be a women's film, only with women.
