Algeria – An Algerian girl was shot by mistake today, Friday, November 2nd, 2018, by shooting at the Algerian-Tunisian border, at the level of the Tezessa wilaya. The shot was fired by Tunisian border guards.
Tunisian border guards fired an Algerian girl by mistake and hit her with a bullet. The girl was with her family in the border center on the Tunisian side.
A joint investigation between the Algerian and Tunisian security services was launched to determine the causes of this incident. According to the Tunisian version the border guards fired at a stray dog, but the bullet mistakenly touched the girl.
