On a field visit to Algiers today, the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, inaugurated the mythical Ketchaoua Mosque located in the Lower Casbah.
The inauguration of the Ketchaoua Mosque is an important step in the Algerian revolution of the President of the Republic. The mythical place of worship of the capital has been completely renovated following an Algerian-Turkish partnership.
The first magistrate of the country was offered a bath of crowd on his arrival at the edge of the historic place of worship. He has, moreover, greeted the crowd from the entrance of the mosque. Among other things, the President inaugurated the Algiers metro line between Martyrs' Square and Ain Naadja.
