Algeria – The Minister of National Education, Nouria Benghabrit spoke on Wednesday 29th on the next school year held for September 5, indicating there are voices that are rising everywhere and aim to "Destabilize" the National Education sector even before the beginning of the school year 2018-2019.

The first Sector Leader also emphasized the importance of reaching a consensus with all the social partners to bring about the reform of the education system.
Despite the many demands of the unions to postpone the start of school year because of Cholera the Minister of National Education has maintained the date of the start of the school year, claiming that preventive measures against cholera were taken by the Ministry of Health.
