Industrial vehicles: CNI grants benefits to Savem factory in Haddad

Algeria – As reported by ALG24, the National Council of Investment (CNI) examined, on October 30 last, files relating to the investment.

Besides the Sovac file and that of the "negative list" the CNI chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia has reconsidered the claim for benefits from "Savem", a subsidiary of Ali Haddad's ETRHB Group.

To this end, the CNI has officially agreed to the granting of several benefits to the project of the "Savem" plant of assembly of industrial vehicles of the mark Astra, located in the wilaya of Bouira.

This project now benefits from exemption from customs duties and VAT exemption for imported or locally acquired goods and services directly entering into the realization of the investment.

In addition, the CNI decided to exempt the duties and taxes (including VAT) applied on the prices of goods produced (Astra trucks) for a period of five years.

ANDI is thus responsible for signing, in the coming days, with Ali Haddad an investment agreement.
