Crying deficit of donating blood to the Pierre and Marie Curie Center (specialist)

Questioned about the origins of the deficit of this vital liquid at the level of the transfusion centers, Professor Gachi explains it by the succession of two major events represented by the month of Ramadan, followed immediately after the great holidays marked by a bass of the number of donors.

According to this practitioner, patients in the center suffer for many of them from a deficit of blood and platelets essential for their treatment after the chemotherapy sessions as a result of which they develop anemia caused by the loss of their red blood cells.

She recalls that without offering their blood, donors could donate platelets, without major consequences on his body. But in order to have relatively short platelet counts, blood centers should have continuous donors available.
