RAMALLAH – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stressed on Sunday the need to implement the decisions taken against Israel, the United States.
He made these remarks during a meeting with the Advisory Council of his party, Fatah, at the seat of the presidency in Ramallah.
"Palestinian political and diplomatic work must continue to end the (Israeli) occupation of our people and our land," he said, quoted by WAFA, the official Palestinian news agency.
"It is necessary to implement the decisions of the Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) regarding our relations with Israel, the United States," Abbas said.
The US government decided last year to recognize El Qods as the capital of Israel, and in May transferred its embassy from Tel Aviv to El Qods.
This year, US President Donald Trump made several negative decisions against the Palestinians, such as the closure of the PLO representative office in Washington, or the removal of US financial support for the Palestinians and the Office.
