Playing video games in streaming is now possible thanks to the "cloud"

The American giant Electronic Arts (EA) has just announced its "Atlas Project": no less than 1,000 employees are working on a gaming platform combining "cloud" and artificial intelligence to create "living, thrilling, ever-changing universes evolution ", in the words of technology manager Ken Moss.

The current games, with their graphics and their animations ultra sophisticated and greedy in computer power, are a big challenge for the giants of the video game and the technology: one needs powerful servers, able to diffuse animated graphic contents quickly and smoothly, let alone the action.

The idea is that after music, movies or series, video games become in turn services hosted in the "cloud" computer, which can be played, wifi, on all devices but with the quality and fluidity of a game on a console or computer
