A mysterious giant spider web was formed on a beach in Greece at the end of summer, hundreds of meters of canvas were woven. The images are impressive.

As a video posted on YouTube shows, all the vegetation of the beach was covered with this giant canvas, which would be the work of the Tetragnatha species.

This seasonal phenomenon is due to the breeding season for Tetragnatha genus spiders. These spiders move faster on the water than on the ground, and there are many mosquitoes and ideal conditions for breeding.
