The charge d'Affaires of the occupied territories of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Abdallah Souilem, said Saturday in Boumerdes, a delegation of the European Parliament will visit, on September 3 and 4, the two cities occupied of El-Ayoune and Dakhla, in order to inquire about the Sahrawis' access to the riches of their country.
Saturday in Boumerdes, at the end of his opening address of the Polisario Front and SADR Officers Summer University, the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, indicated that the European Court of Justice had affirmed, on three occasions, its decisions declaring that any convention concluded without the consent of the Saharawi people was "null, illegitimate and immoral", expressing its certainty that the CJEU will cancel any convention relating to the terrestrial and maritime wealth of the Sahara Occidental.
Ghali affirmed his conviction that the CJEU and European justice will dedicate the right of the Saharawi people to defend their wealth until their freedom and independence.
"At that moment, the Saharawi people will conclude the conventions they want with whom they want," he added. In this regard, the Saharawi President denounced the tendency of some European countries trying to circumvent decisions of the CJEU which "clearly stipulate that any convention concluded with the Kingdom of Morocco concerning the Saharawi territories and their waters is a null convention and will be canceled by the CJEU ".
